I was thrilled when a local playground friend asked me to take newborn photos of her new baby girl. As my youngest is 3 now I was thrilled to spend some time with an itty bitty baby. They are just so precious, so little and growing so so fast! Baby A was around 3 weeks when I did the session. The family was getting more settled into being a family of 4. I spent a few hours with them in their apartment here is Munich, Germany.

The new big brother had to warm up to me, but like with most kids that took no time at all. Me and kids I photograph are always fast friends. I think it is from the many years of babysitter experience I had before having my own children. I was able to capture some of this precious time together during the father’s last week of paternity leave.

It is so exhausting having a new baby in the house and memories of this time gets so fuzzy it is a great time to have a family photography session. You will get great pictures of the baby and the whole family that you can treasure forever. I am always so honored to be invited into someone’s home to do these shoots and can not wait to meet the next beautiful baby I get to photograph here in Munich. If you are pregnant or have a young baby at home I would love to do a documentary newborn family photography session for you. I even have last minute availability to photography your newborn during the week so send me a message!
